‘Sterling’ Hops

‘Sterling’ Hops

Humulus lupulus Mostly Saaz x Cascade, with some open-pollinated German varietals in the background. Dr. Al Haunold intro, 1998.

Dual-purpose, most commonly used as an aroma hop but adaptable for a range of uses such as pale ales, IPAs, lagers and dry-hopped brews. Spicy and floral with hints of citrus. Alpha content 6–12%.

A great sub for Saaz with way more disease resistance. Z3. (5-6" female rhizomes)
