2018 Talks, Conferences and Events

Grafting Fruit Trees, MOFGA's Common Ground Education Center, Unity, Maine. Fedco Trees coordinator Jen Ries will teach a hands-on workshop on whip-and-tongue grafting. $40 for MOFGA members, $50 for others; includes rootstock, scionwood and handouts. Bring your own lunch and grafting knife.

Fedco’s Annual Tree Sale, Clinton, Maine; held each year on the first Friday-Saturday in May. At the Trees warehouse (213 Hinckley Rd), we’ll have fruit trees, shade trees, shrubs, vines, crowns, seedlings and more. Up the hill (688 Bellsqueeze Rd), we’ll have seeds, seed potatoes, organic fertilizers and pest control, and supplies for orchard, farm and garden.
