(53 days) Open-pollinated. Rich-flavored zucchini ribbed with light green stripes. A bit more slender and graceful than Costata and not quite as ribbed or blocky. Easier to harvest at a smaller desirable (but not baby) size, compared to Costata, which drops its blossom when it feels like it. This Italian heirloom was called Cocozella di Napoli in the 1800s. The term ‘zucchini’ (little gourds) was published in the USA by California seed house Aggeler & Musser in 1921. ② ③
