Lehigh

yellow skin, light yellow flesh A late-season yellow that produces high yields of large tubers. Released jointly in 2007 by Cornell, UPenn and UMaine and named after Lehigh County in Pennsylvania, where the field trials were conducted.

Has produced consistently high yields across diverse growing regions and conditions. Excellent storage potential. Holds its shape well boiled, making it a great choice for soups and stews, but also great mashed or fried.

Resistant to blackspot bruise; tolerant to scab. Available as conventional and, NEW! this year, organic seed.

This item will ship on our regular shipping schedule, starting in early April with the warmest hardiness zones. We cannot ship this item any earlier; we regret that we cannot honor any requests to do so.
