Creeping Thyme

Thymus serpyllum
Also known as Mother-of-Thyme or Brotherwort. Creeping sweet-scented ground cover with purple flowers good in rock gardens, between stepping stones or on dry slopes. Likes good drainage, full sun and alkaline soil. Plants grow slowly from seed, may be started indoors two months before planting, or outside in early spring or fall. Sow thickly, do not cover seeds. 2". Perennial, Zones 3-10. ~6,290 seeds/g.
