‘Winter Chocolate’ Heather

Pale lavender flowers August through October. Bronze foliage in winter with orange-red tips emerging in spring. As summer progresses, foliage becomes more golden-green or chartreuse, with dabs of pink closest to the stem and more lime-green farther up the spears. Deeper green foliage at the base and chocolaty stems offer striking contrast.

Compact upright form. Z4. (4" pots)

Plant about 18" apart each way and let it spread. Lower the pH if necessary, but it does not tolerate wet spots like cranberries and blueberries.
