Killarney Summer-bearing Raspberry

Rubus spp. Early. Chief x Indian Summer. Morden Stn, Manitoba, Canada, 1961.

Produces medium to large round crumbly fruit of excellent quality over a long season. Deep red summer-bearing cultivar ripens after Prelude and before Nova. Same parentage as Boyne but firmer texture and brighter color.

Summer-bearing raspberries bear on second-year canes (floricanes). Midseason berries ripen around late July in central Maine. Sturdy 4' canes. Hardy, and yields consistently. Z4. (bare-root canes)
