The hardiest rootstock we offer. Space trees 20–30' apart. Z3. Note: Straight, unbranched Antonovka stock is not available this year. These will have more fibrous root systems than the rootstock we typically offer, and they will be branched. We are confident you will be able to graft with these, but if you’re worried, consider ordering a different rootstock this year. We will not refund your order if you are unsatisfied with their form.

We have two shipping options for rootstock:

Choose A for our regular late-March to early-May shipping window (to receive rootstock with other plants, if ordered).
Choose B for mid-March (to receive rootstock with scionwood, if ordered).

If you want your rootstock and scionwood delivered at the same time, you must choose option B.

We do our best to provide ¼" caliper stock. Because of factors beyond our control (such as weather!) stock may be ³⁄₁₆–³⁄₈".
