‘Lullaby’ Crabapple

‘Lullaby’ Crabapple

Malus 8x12' Klehm Nursery intro, South Barrington, IL, 1980. Red buds open to large single white blossoms. Another yellow-fruiting crab selected by Father John Fiala, but this one is what some call a fountain or umbrella crab. Low weeping form is reminiscent of Red Jade. We don’t offer many weepers and are excited to have this one in the lineup. Fiala recommended never planting weepers in groups, an aesthetic no-no. Best as a single specimen. Extremely disease resistant. Z4. Maine Grown. (Semi-dwarf: 2½-5' bare-root trees)
