Medium juicy, medium crisp and high in tannins. Begins to oxidize moments after cutting or grinding. (SG 1.062) Small 2" yellow fruit sometimes with a faint blush.
Discovered on a fruit exploring mission in Hancock County, Maine, in the fall of 2015. The small roadside wild seedling tree was loaded so we had to stop. Boy, were we happy. You will be, too.
Recommended for trial—we’re liking it so far. Uncertain bloom time. Probably Z4.
