Large upright slightly pyramidal tree with white clusters of flowers in April and May. Each seedling is unique and will bear fruit of variable size, shape and quality for culinary use, but like apples, most wild pears are beneficial for wildlife. Take a chance on the natural fruit, plant for the deer, or topwork (graft) other varieties.
Compatible with most European types. Plant more than one for pollination if you don’t have other pear trees around. This is not a grafted variety. Z3. Maine Grown. (2½-6' bare-root trees)
