Medium-large roundish-oblate yellow fruit, splashing and striped with red. Tender and bitter. SG around 1.067. Best blended with other cider apples.
Recommended in the Pays d’Auge cider area of northern France in 1949 and sent to the USDA ARS collection in Geneva, NY, that same year.
Eric Shatt provided scionwood. Blooms mid-late season. Zones 5-8 though worth trialing in Z4. Maine Grown. (Standard: 3-6' bare-root trees)
