Katahdin

Katahdin conventional

buff skin, white flesh Released in 1932 by the USDA and Maine, it is the standard to which all storage potatoes are compared.

Very well suited to a Maine growing season, spreading plants can produce some lunkers. The tubers tend towards the soil’s surface, so hill well.

Resistant to mild mosaic, but not spindle tuber or leafroll. Medium-to-large spreading plant with many large light purple flowers. Conventional seed only.
