Daisy Gold
Daisy Gold dark yellow skin, gold flesh Seedsaver extraordinaire Will Bonsall plants Daisy Gold as his main potato variety, with various others as backups. He says there’s generally a trade-off between rich yellow color, rich flavor, and the practical considerations of yields and storability. Not so with Daisy Gold—you get the superb bright yellow color, great flavor and flaky texture along with high yields of large slightly flattened tubers that store well. “Highly versatile, I use it for everything,” Will says. Good resistance to diseases and viruses. Has performed exceptionally well in organic trials. Organic only. NEW!

This item will ship on our regular shipping schedule, starting in early April with the warmest hardiness zones. We cannot ship this item any earlier; we regret that we cannot honor any requests to do so.

SEED POTATOES

Solanum tuberosum
Early potatoes mature in 65-80 days.
Midseason potatoes mature in 80-90 days
Late potatoes mature in more than 90 days

Fingerlings are long and thin, shaped like small fish or maybe even fingers, displaying various skin and flesh colors. Fingerlings are often prolific and disease-resistant. Though late maturing, the plants set heavily and small ones can be harvested early. Chefs, market farmers and home gardeners find these beautiful potatoes have unequaled flavor and culinary qualities.

LBR indicates field resistance to late blight.
