‘Ruby Stella’ DaylilyHemerocallis Dark ruby flowers with deep wine-red markings, a striking yellow-bordered greenish throat, and red anthers for highlights. Foliage 14-18" tall and flower scapes up to 22". Tolerates drought once established. Prolific 3" blooms from early summer until first frost. Performs best in full sun and does not require deadheading, pruning or pinching.
Plant 12-18" apart in average soil; benefits from a shovel or two of compost. Very hardy, flourishes under a wide range of conditions, from full sun to shade, wet to dry.
