What's New at
Fedco Bulbs

tulip bulbWelcome to Fedco’s 26th offering of flowerbulbs, seed garlic and perennials

(over 250 selections of bulbs and plants this year)

Look for NEW! on over 20 new items including such contributors to your perennial gardens as edible Egyptian Walking Onions, four cultivars each of Japanese Iris and Siberian Iris, two species tulips, and four Maine-grown daylilies. The latter will ship with the early shipment items (E1011-E1274, pp 7-9) in early September.

Small producers from Maine to Iowa provide us with over a dozen items, among them colchicum ‘The Giant’, four daylilies, all our garlics, the NEW! Egyptian Walking Onions, and the indefatigable narcissus Sara’s Stars.

We have made several improvements to our website: We’ve added a Bulbs quick order form to speed up placing orders. Groups can also now place orders online. Group coordinators will find instructions for setting up an online group at the “Group Order” link at the Bulbs home page www.fedcoseeds.com/bulbs.htm or by clicking on the Fedco Bulbs logo at www.fedcoseeds.com. We no longer accept orders by fax, so as the deadline approaches give yourself enough time to get your order in the mail, or order online.

forced hyacinths in glassesNote our pickup day and surplus sale on Wednesday, October 13. In addition to surplus flowerbulbs, Organic Growers Supply and Fedco Seeds will be open with seeds for fall planting and garden supplies.

Our high-quality bulbs are farm grown or nursery propagated from commercial and organic stock and, unlike those from many other suppliers, nearly all are topsize. Larger bulbs result in larger flowers and more vigorous plants. When you compare our prices with stores and other catalogs, please remember to factor in bulb sizes, shipping charges and our volume discounts.

Fedco bulbs is a division of Fedco Seeds Inc, a consumer/worker cooperative. Please let us know if you’d like our other catalogs. (Trees in October; Seeds, supplies and seed potatoes in December.)

Write to us with your questions, comments and suggestions.

Thank you.
